Budweiser | Reprinting History

Today, only 61% of ads positively portray women. And as one of the most iconic brands in advertising, Budweiser has certainly played a role in perpetuating the issue of gender inequality. In honor of International Women’s Day, we took three historically sexist print ads from Budweiser’s past and reimagined them in the context of today. We commissioned female illustrators to rebuild each ad from the ground up, showing that women aren’t props or housewives, they’re beer drinkers.
